Independent shops
I was looking around town eariler and I couldnt see any independant shops, where have they all gone? I don’t want to buy from the typical highstreet stores, they’re over priced and it’s all mass prodcuced.
A friend recommended www.jessicaflinn.co.uk, she’s a local jeweller who makes jewellery in very small numbers so you know that the piece you’re buying wont be seen on anyone else! I dread buying clothes from cheap shops and I know the other people who also bought it will see me in it and know!
I’m going to go and check out her website now, I think its very “feel good” to support new designers too. She also does a design service so you can get a one off piece designed especially for you.
