Introducing Adele Adkins
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born in Tottenham, London, on 5 May 1988, her mother is an unmarried teenager. He started singing at age four and became obsessed with voices. Adele says that her passion for music was influenced positively by Spice Girls: “They made ââme what I am today.” Also, Adele used to imitate singers of the Spice Girls to party in its infancy. At age 11, Adele with her mother, moved to West Norwood, south London. West Norwood is the subject of the first track, called “Hometown Glory”, written at age 16. After moving to south London, she became interested in R & B artists such as Destiny’s Child or Mary J. Bliege. Adele’s interest in soul music was enhanced by her visit to the HMV store on Oxford Street in London. Singer followed BRIT School (School of Arts and Technology) in Croydon, London, until the age of 16.
