New Campus Plans For Stamford Houses

Stamford houses will start work in March on the 1st housing phase of an £120m mixed-use development in Beverley, near Hull.Land remediation contractor Sirius is carrying out site clearance, which may continue for as much as 5 weeks and includes removing buried structures and any contamination.The 1st section of the Flemingate regeneration plan will see 130 houses built before shops, a cinema, hotel, college and offices are built at the former factory site.New campus plans for East Riding college were initially put aside for the first phase, but the offer was hit by a funding reversal last year.The consortium behind the regeneration plans Wykeland Group, CP Group and Quintain Estates and Developments chose Stamford homes as the most preferred developer for the home part of the development.Steve Woomble, Stamford houses sales director, said We are delighted to be a part of this exciting development for the area, in particular to show off our range of energy saving homes which have recently attracted some early interest from potential buyers.The housing scheme will have 2, 3 and four-bedroom properties, which are expected to range from about £150,000 to £235,000 each.
