The Ancestral Home Kentchurch Court

The original house at Kentchurch dates back to the 11th century and is Grade 1 listed building, it is the ancestral home of the Scudamore family and impressively it has continued to be handed down through generations of the family for nearly 1000 years. John Nash re-designed and renovated the house in 1795, in the Gothic revival style. Kentchurch Court dates as far back as to the 14th century and is now considered to be one of the most significant of all the historic houses in the UK

Herefordshire Gardens

Kentchurch Court is still a family home and is presently owned and run by Jan Lucas-Scudamore and her family, at a later date it will be handed down to her son. Although it remains a family home and estate, Kentchurch Court and its marvellous Gardens are now available for visits members of the public during the year and the garden is a part of the National Garden Scheme.
